Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers was based on the manga series Digimon, in which children can travel to a digital world and help good digital monsters to defeat evil ones. The game starts off with Ryo visiting Ken Ichijouji in his room. They witness Diaboromon's defeat by Omnimon on the Internet, and Veemon appears from the computer with a D-3 for Ryo. There was an extra Diaboromon loose in.
Unused Graphics
The last column of tiles on the Reload Screen is overwritten in-game, due to the text routine starting one tile too far over.
This can be fixed by changing the value from 12 to 11 at the following locations: 1F60E5, 1F35E8, 1F6168
- Debut: Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers Attacks: Pinecone, Worm Barrier, San no Awa note Acid Bubbles A Digimon that is an evolution of Leafmon, and went into a tough outer shell.
- Digimon World 2, Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers, Digimon Adventure 02: D-1 Tamers, and Digimon World Dawn and Dusk follow a different method. DNA Digivolving two digimon together will permanently fuse them into one new Digimon with increased stats, sometimes forming a new one but other times not.
